Preserving Milton's Past for the Future

Upcoming event: Hidden Spaces: A special program at the Suffolk Resolves House

Stop in anytime on Sunday, October 19, between 1 and 4 pm, to see spaces in this colonial-era home that are not usually open to the public. You’ll see what’s behind the little door at the top of the stairs, what’s under the door in the parlor floor, and more. These spaces and our current photography exhibit help tell the story of how, seventy-five years ago, the house was moved from Milton Lower Falls, and reconstructed on its current site. Suffolk Resolves House, 1370 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA. Free admission.

A large stone monument with a bronze plaque commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence at Lloyd Nixon Landing Place.
