431 Brush Hill Road

Although the 1431 Brush Hill Road residence pictured is in Milton, Brush Hill was then covered by the Readville post office.  The English style country residence was designed after a wing of an English manor house in Londonderry England for Dr. Charles Swan, who for a time had a clinic for children on the third floor.  Interior sculpted fireplaces bear the symbols of Dr. Swan's profession.
