Hughes House

The 1889 Hughes House at 144 Randolph Avenue, designed by William Ralph Emerson, was built by J. Murray Forbes for his newly wed daughter Sarah and her husband William Hastings Hughes.  Sarah Forbes Hughes was editor of Letters and Recollections of John Murray Forbes.
